Discover the new variants of the T series with plug-in seal with external fastening, fuse holder and for data technology.

As one of few manufacturers to do so, OBO offers systems for the connecting, fastening and distribution of power and data cables in cable systems with function maintenance from a single source.
The new generation of the OBO FireBox, with pre-mounted connection unit, makes the safe extension or branching of function maintenance cables child's play.

Speed up mounting
Versions with external fastening complement the known mounting type from within. The high-temperature-resistant connection unit is pre-mounted in the FireBox. Plug-in seals make cable insertion particularly quick and easy.
One family. A range of benefits.

The OBO FireBox, with internal fuse, protects each electrical function area separately.

System tested for fire protection
Together with the supplied bolt ties, the high-temperature-resistant ceramic connection unit of the OBO FireBox forms a fire protection-tested system, approved for mounting on concrete, masonry, calcareous limestone and brick.

Robust housing
The robust housing, made of halogen-free thermoplastic polymer, is impact- and breakage-resistant and, with the high protection rating of up to IP 66, perfectly protected. The FireBox successfully passed tests according to DIN 4102 Part 12 at the North Rhine-Westphalia Materials Testing Institute.

The perfect basis
The housing of the FireBox is based on the T series which means it offers unique properties and intelligent details: For example, the FireBox lid is fastened quickly by a simple 90° turn of the corner screws.

FireBox for installations with protected branch
Economic application in challenging structures: The OBO FireBox, with internal fuse, protects each electrical function area separately. Cables can be branched simply to each individual fire section using the box. In particular, in large buildings, this flexible cabling type considerably reduces the amount of materials used. If there is damage during a fire, the upstream fuse trips, thus preventing the reaction of short-circuits. The fuse unit is fixed simply to a fastening mandrel with a screw.
