They can simply be clicked into the trunking profile with just one movement. It is a compact system, which can be mounted quickly and expanded easily. Compared with standard installation types, the cost of installing the devices is considerably lower. No additional components, such as accessory mounting boxes, adapters or cover frames, are required.

The plastic trunking is available in the colours light grey and pure white. With a total of three widths available, the trunking can now offer even more application options. The following dimensions are available: 100 mm, 130 mm and 165 mm.
Intelligent mounting details, such as joint connectors and covers, allow rapid installation. A compact selection of fittings, such as internal and external corners, flat angles and T pieces, ensure tidy mounting. The hood fittings fit both the plastic system and the aluminium system.

Surface quality plus a balanced shape – that's the aluminium Rapid 45-2. Technical precision meets the elegant look of the device installation trunking, and enhances any type of environment.

With anodised or pure white powder-coated surfaces, aluminium Rapid 45-2 device installation trunking brings elegance to any workplace. Special colours can also be implemented upon customer request.

Anodised surface

During anodising, metal surfaces are electrically oxidised. This creates an extremely hard, scratch-resistant surface. Compared to other treatment methods, no outside material is used. The metallic character of the aluminium remains intact. In addition, the method offers reliable protection against corrosion.

There are 3 dimensions available in the aluminium trunking version: The aluminium variant is available in the same dimensions as the PVC trunking: 100 mm, 130 mm and 165 mm.

Fixed and variable fittings, such as internal corners, external corners and T pieces, make installation easier and more flexible than ever. The aluminium Rapid 45-2 cover consists of a PVC base profile and an aluminium panel profile. Mounting and dismantling the cover is very simple. Another advantage: It does not need to be included in the protective measure.

Two variants, one system

The Rapid 45-2 device installation trunking has the same dimensions for both the plastic and aluminium variants. The consistent standardisation simplifies the combination of individual system parts. Accessory parts, such as end pieces or variable fittings, fit both the plastic and also the aluminium trunking.

Optional: Halogen-free Rapid 45-2 variant

The Rapid 45-2 device installation trunking is also available in a halogen-free variant. This version has low smoke gas, low corrosion and is particularly safe. Because halogen-free cable routing systems from OBO fulfil high safety standards. Completely manufactured from halogen-free plastics, if there is a fire, it reduces the amount of toxic smoke gases and the formation of corrosive substances.
