Support structures for fire insulations

Sets for the mechanical support of pass-through installations in fire insulation

In accordance with the proofs of suitability, most fire insulation requires mechanical support of the passed-through installations made of non-combustible material. This is intended to prevent a negative impact on the insulation in case of fire. With the support structures with pendulum and bracket, OBO can offer two sets to create the required mechanical support.

Fulfils the standard, approved spacings

The support structure sets from OBO are suitable for installations with widths of up to 400 mm. The maximum spacing with brackets to the insulation surface is 200 mm, which corresponds to the current, approved distances according to the proofs of suitability or approval of the fire insulation. The pendulum suspensions can be positioned freely within the specifications of the approval data.

For single and multilayer installations

The OBO sets to support fire insulation are available in two variants:

Including mounting components

The sets contain all the mounting components required for support on one side of the insulation. These include:

  • Profile rails
  • Brackets
  • Threaded rods
  • Screws
  • Anchors

The support structure is required on both sides of the insulation, meaning that two sets are required for complete support of the insulation. Fastening material for (mesh) cable trays or cable ladders are not included in the set!
