BIM Test Lab
Welcome to the OBO BIM Test Lab! Sometimes our BIM modelers are simply even faster than the software developers. Nevertheless, we do not want to withhold the resulting models and system families from you, but rather make them available for direct testing right now!
In the OBO Test Lab you will find brand new BIM models for Autodesk Revit to download and try out free of charge. Your feedback is explicitly welcome at bim@obo.de.

Mounting System for Cable Trays
A realistic cable tray planning includes a corresponding mounting system. This will improve the quality of the collision check with other trades and realize a complete material list of your tray planning.
In order to support your planning, we have put together a package for you to download. This consists of:
- Cantilevers
- Hanging Handles
- Typicals (pre-defined assembly groups)
Test the mounting system from OBO for Revit (created in version 2019) without registration. In the ZIP file you will find the Revit files, a quick start guide and a how-to video. We hope you enjoy planning with OBO.

Mesh Cable Trays
A special feature of mesh cable tray planning is that the molded parts are created from the tray. Of course, we have also taken this into account in our models, so that the required assembly material is added quite automatically. So you can easily plan and generate a complete material list from the planning.
To make planning as easy as possible for you, we provide the required models as a package for download. The package consists of the following models:
- Mesh Cable Trays
- Molded Parts
- Mounting Material (e.g. angles, connectors)
