Electrical cables and pipes may only be run through walls and ceilings at the ends of rooms when there is a guarantee that they do not present an opportunity for fire and smoke to spread. Set against this background, the installations required for ceiling and wall penetrations must be reliably closed. This is not a problem with the PYROPLUG® MagicBox: It can be used for effective prevention of the spread of fire and smoke. The MagicBox enables the simple, flexible insulation of cables and pipes in a manner conformant with the approval. It can be used just as reliably in the raw construction phase or later during retro-assignments.

Don't let things heat up too quickly
The magic is in the interior of the MagicBox: Inside is a robust, practical and error-tolerant fire protection inlay made of foam, which expands during a fire without any significant pressure development. Here, an insulating carbon foam forms, which reliably prevents the penetration of fire and smoke through the cable insulation.
Thought-out down to the last detail
The PYROPLUG® MagicBox has a modular structure, allowing installation engineers to react individually to different mounting situations and installation environments. Their interior can be fully assigned with installations. The creation of cable support systems with widths of up to 600 mm is also possible without problems. Inlay blocks of foam can be used for larger cavities or for use as reserve insulation. The graphite strips contained in the scope of delivery are attached to the MagicBox at the width of the component, where they foam up if there is a fire, reliably closing the gap created around the box.
The perfectly matched portfolio of different heights and widths can cover any application and also offers fire protection boxes with a particularly large interior. They can be arranged in groups with two boxes on top of, or next to, one another.
Fire insulation? Foam up!
The perfect system addition to the PYROPLUG® MagicBox is the PYROSIT® NG fire protection foam. If there is a fire, the foam expands, forming an insulating layer, which prevents the spread of fire. The special recipe of the 2-component foam allows simple, pinpointed processing – even if things get complex.
The two variants of the PYROPLUG® MagicBox

PYROPLUG® MagicBox 4-sided variant: Practical click connection
The 4-sided variant of the Magic Box consists of a two-part stainless steel housing with intumescent fire protection inlays. It can be used as an insulation system in walls and ceilings. The releasable Magic connection ensures very quick mounting: Simply click the halves of the housing together, insert them in the component opening and mortar them in. Side straps secure the correct position of the MagicBox.
PYROPLUG® MagicBox 3-sided variant: Wall, ceiling, floor
In the 3-sided variant, the PYROPLUG® MagicBox consists of a single-part stainless steel housing with intumescent fire protection inlays. This variant can be used as an insulation system in walls, on raw floors, beneath system floors or as insulation of rising sections in ceilings. The stainless steel housing offers very quick mounting: Simply insert in the component opening and mortar in. With this variant too, the side straps ensure the fire protection box is in the correct position, enabling safe mortaring in.
Tested quality for more safety
