Surge Protection for Photovoltaic Systems
Surge protection for PV systems always has two sides: Surges can be coupled into the system on both the DC and AC sides for a variety of reasons and thus damage the inverters, for example. The OBO surge protection reliably protects all sides. Robust housing with high protection degree
The UV-resistant boxes stand out through the high protection class IP66 and impact resistance IK07. Especially practical: the cables are connected quickly and securely using clamps with push-in technology.

With their heat-resistant polycarbonate housing, the generator connection boxes are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. The transparent cover of the boxes offers a clear view of the surge protection and thus enables simple function control. The typical areas of application for OBO generator junction boxes are:

Well thought-out in every detail
Cable glands, membrane pressure balance plugs and external fastenings are already included in the scope of delivery of the generator connection boxes. These small components also provide decisive advantages: The external mounting brackets are very easy to attach and also allow several generator junction boxes to be simply lined up next to each other. This not only saves on fastening material and thus keeps stock levels low, but also saves space and time. Another advantage: If the photovoltaic system is expanded at a later date, the generator connection boxes can also be easily extended and connected to the existing boxes to protect them. For its part, the pressure balance plug prevents condensation from forming in the generator junction box.
